BEFORE THE STUDIO

✺

First there
was curiosity.

Daniel “DP” Ferreira grew up on a farm near Bethlehem in the Eastern Free State, surrounded by gardens, making, art and the small details of everyday beauty. Floral design became an early fascination; fine-art study followed, and later four years of working with florists in London.

The landscape was always part of the picture. Daniel returned to South Africa in 2001 and settled in Knysna, where an independent floral practice eventually grew into something more.
